This seal, molded from high grade 55D polyurethane, may retrofit the PS1800 seals, considering all dimensions are comparable. This seal material, with a high degree of memory, stretches over the piston and snaps in the groove for immediate assembly. These seals also feature low friction and high abrasion and extrusion resistance which helps to eliminate assembly damage. Piston diameter “I” dimensions are given for pistons without wear rings.

This two piece piston seal design comes made with a heat-stabilized, thermoplastic step-cut ring along with a profiled NBR energizer. This product offers extreme strength and resistance to extrusion, a very high resistance to abrasion, and ease of installation thanks to the step cut design and chamfered edges. The design also allows the seal to pass over ports without damage and offers greater resistance to surface roughness in comparison to any elastomer seals. The profiled energizer offers improved dynamic sealing ability, responding quickly to pressure changes and providing excellent sealing characteristics under a wide range of pressure conditions.

Designed to fit on one or two piece pistons, this piston seal employs a nitrile seal for high sealability, nylon split backups for extrusion resistance, and two split bearing rings. No further support bearings are required.

Molded from 93 Shore A polyurethane with a 70 Shore A energizer, this seal utilizes the same groove dimensions as a standard o-ring or T-seal. One or two Style 575 back-up rings may be used for wider grooves. Extrusion resistant by design, this seal is also resistant to rolling and twisting. Installation is an easy two step snap-in procedure with no need to re-size before insertion into the bore. Piston diameter “I” dimensions are given for pistons without wear rings.

The square cut energizer provides low pressure sealing and eliminates backside leakage. T-Seals combine a resilient sealing ring with a hard, split back-up ring on each side of the sealing element. The assembly installs in a standard o-ring groove. T-Seals are non-spiraling and extrusion resistant to 5,000 psi with improved tolerances. Intermediate and Wide Base T-Seals are designed to fit MIL-5514F o-ring glands only and interchange with 1 o-ring / 1 back-up ring and 1 o-ring / 2 back-up ring grooves, respectively.
