Molded with a premium urethane and employing a back-up, this seal absorbs the shock of pressure spikes to protect the rod seal. The unique design also relieves back pressure between the buffer and the rod seal. The premium urethane demonstrates good heat resistance with almost no permanent deformation at high temperatures. In addition, the elastomeric properties can be quickly restored even in low temperatures to ensure stable sealing in cold applications.
